Privacy Policy

This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This policy applies to browsing and on-site interactions at sr-ios.com and explains how related data is handled. For information about data processed by the Shadowrocket app or App Store purchases, consult the relevant policies and information.

1. Scope and Data Collection

This site provides static content and has no account registration, email collection, or configuration upload forms. You can read the guides without submitting your name, payment details, server passwords, or subscription URLs. Use your existing subscription or server details in the client as described in the guides; do not submit them as site visit parameters.

When your browser requests a page, the hosting provider and security infrastructure may process your IP address, request time, page path, response status, and browser information. These technical records are used to deliver pages, diagnose errors, and detect unusual requests. They do not indicate that the site reads app content on your device. Site pages do not access Config, connection history, or Data in Shadowrocket.

2. Site Analytics and How Data Is Used

We use analytics to understand page views, navigation, and clicks on links to the App Store. Analytics may include pages viewed, referring pages, device or browser categories, and events triggered by user actions. For example, clicking the App Store button on the authenticity-check page may be recorded as a link click, not as a purchase.

Analytics help us assess whether information is easy to find, identify broken links, and improve mobile readability. They are not used to collect server credentials. A click on an App Store link does not give this site access to your Apple Account, payment method, or order details. How long technical logs and analytics data are retained depends on the actual deployment settings; this policy does not promise a fixed period that has not been verified.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

You do not need a login cookie to read the basic site content. Whether analytics use cookies or store visit identifiers depends on the analytics settings enabled for the deployment. If enabled, they are used only to recognize visits and compile statistics. If local storage is used to remember display preferences, it should store only those settings—not subscription URLs, passwords, or payment information.

You can use your browser settings to review, block, or clear cookies and site data. Clearing them may reset saved preferences and affect analytics continuity, but you can still access the static guides. Browser storage restrictions may not prevent essential page requests or technical records on the server.

4. App Store Links and App Data

The link to get the app on this site goes to the Shadowrocket App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Any page visits, account sign-ins, payments, or purchase restorations there are governed by Apple's privacy policy and terms. This site does not accept or process payments and cannot look up transactions on Apple's behalf.

Shadowrocket is a paid client for Apple platforms. A one-time purchase of the client is not a subscription for network services. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy servers or subscriptions; it explains how to use configurations you already have. Check the App Store page for system requirements and purchase availability. Site analytics and the client's connection activity are separate data-processing contexts.

5. Policy Updates and Questions

If our data practices, analytics methods, or browser storage uses change, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. We will provide any necessary notices where changes add new data categories or purposes. Continuing to browse this site does not replace consent that must be obtained separately under applicable law.

To check whether a procedure requires you to submit sensitive information, review the permissions and configuration sections in the User Guide or System Guide. Before troubleshooting, hide account details, full subscription URLs, and server credentials. For privacy or purchase matters on Apple pages, use the options provided on those pages.
